Amanda Lee, Doctor of Physical Therapy, is a native of Chapel Hill and recently moved to Durham. A multi-sport high school athlete, she played basketball, soccer, tennis, and ran track. Dr. Lee graduated from Eckerd College as a basketball scholar in 2006 with a degree in Psychology. She also played semi-pro basketball with the RDU Flames in 2009. A life-long student of martial arts, Dr. Lee taught karate and practiced as a mixed martial artist. She later returned to school at Mary Baldwin University and earned her Doctorate from the Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences in Staunton, VA. Dr. Lee enjoys working with athletes of all ages and is passionate about helping people regain lost function and mobility. In her free time, she enjoys Jiu Jitsu, hiking with her dog, mountain biking, rollerblading, and spending time with friends and family.
